Compiling a Pascal program

I've tried with either fpc -S2 mol2ps.pas or fpc -S2 -O2 mol2ps.pas
And there is an error.
I find strange:
Error: /usr/bin/ppcarm returned an error exitcode (normal if you did not specfy a source file to be compiled)
