we should perhaps also suggest that people reset their device to factory
state after updating to OTA10.1, the welcome wizard that is preinstalled
does not offer to set a user name so you end up with "Ubuntu" on the
lock screen ... 

resetting the device after the upgrade gets you the new welcome wizard
that also allows to set the visible user name ...
