Re: Emulator i386 and arm

Hi Krzysztof,

you do not set the CLICK_SDK_ARCH manually, it is automatically
set by the build target you build against.

Go to tools -> options -> Ubuntu -> create build target,

or if you have a emulator created that was already detected by the SDK
(the emulator needs to boot completely) you can autocreate a Kit from the
devices pane.

Cheers,

Benjamin

Sorry for spamming. I've created arm - not working. i386 - working!
But here is my question: how can I test my app; while emulator is i386
and cannot be i386 *.click package built by Ubuntu SDK? Is there any
way to test my app?

You probably shouldn't use devel-proposed channel. You should use stable
channel as it represents current state of most phones and is functional.
If
you want to stay bleeding edge, use rc-proposed as all development are
focused on that channel. Be warned that recent images in rc-proposed for
emulator are having a problem with internet access.

I've tried also stable and rc-proposed in virtualbox - nothing work
(some several errors).
So I'm installing now Ubuntu in 'normal' device.

Hi,

I'm running Ubuntu SDK (in VirtualBox) and want to play with emulator.
I've installed i386 and arm. When I start one, I'm getting black
screen only with phone frame around. Is that normal? How to
investigate what's wrong?

Best regards,
Krzysztof Tataradziński
