Hello everyone,

Not much movement landing-wise today, with only one silo getting
released so far - a rather big one nevertheless: a new unity8 stack
release. The new version comes with multiple new features (mostly for
convergence, but still), improvements and bugfixes - mentioning a few:
a new session chooser on the greeter, infographics look improvement,
window snapping (maximize), user activity status on greeter, calendar
widget fixes and many many other (many bugfixes for desktop usage as
well). You can see the detailed list of changes on the silo
description page [1].

We also found an issue that made the indicator-keyboard untranslated,
hopefully fixing it properly this time - the next language-pack export
should pull in the translations as intended. We will make sure that
the langpacks are updated with our next stable update.

Development goes a bit slower this week as some teams are a bit
blocked by the yakkety final beta freeze (packages going to
UNAPPROVED, making silos not merge and finalize). Hopefully next week
will be better.
