Yes.. works fine ...same that Christof says...if your server provide
websocket no problem....my server suchat.org works fine... wss://
suchat.org:5281/websocket
Whatsapp too, but of moment basic.
The main problem is don't work with screen off or second plane....but even
with those issues LoquiIM is a very good tool!..
