How to change dialer-app?

My platform is as follows:

Nexus 5 +  ubuntutouch
ubuntu-sdk-ide on Ubuntu 14.04, LTS Trusty,  x86_64 (devel environment)

I want to change dialer-app project for UbuntuTouch to add a voice
encryption when calling. How I can read, change and build the project?
