Public bug reported:

Since flashing to devel-proposed (r115) the phone will no longer make a
3g data connection. When I switch off wifi, the top menu will always
display a 2g connection only.

current OS: Ubuntu 15.04 (r117)  (but discovered on r115, which was a frech install)
