Message #01680
[Bug 1445841] [NEW] .mp4 and .flv files not linked to/opened by Media Player
Public bug reported:
When I try to open my video file from File Manager in "Open with" prompt
I get only Gallery to choose from (mp4) or nothing (flv).
I would like instead to be able to play the video directly as finding it
among hundreds of other videos and pictures is painstaking.
After reading this bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-filemanager-app/+bug/1413821
I checked if it changes if I try to open the file in my /home/Music
folder, but still same result
There is also similar bug (but with some audio files)
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-filemanager-app/+bug/1411576
I am using BQ aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu edition.
** Affects: ubuntu-filemanager-app
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
