Title:
File manager shows USB drive as a hex code rather than a name
Status in Ubuntu File Manager App:
New
Bug description:
I have an 8GB Kingston DataTraveler 2.0 USB stick. When I insert it
as a USB OTG drive, it shows up in File Manager as "4C1B-155C". In
External Drives it shows up as "DataTraveler 2.0". When I insert it
into my Macbook it shows up as "Untitled 1". Either of the latter two
names is reasonable to show to a user. A hex code is not.
