Hi Dalius and all,

Sorry, I've been meaning to reply to this one for a while, but with UDS
and everything going on lately, I just came to it now.

There are several reasons why we recommend using Launchpad blueprints:

- They are a lightweight way of tracking the work, assign work items and
for every team member to know what the others are doing
- They are integrated to each project's home in Launchpad

When we were setting up the projects in Launchpad we did discuss in
which way we should essentially coordinate and manage the development
work, especially in a way that enabled us to make progress and not to
put too much administrative burden on the developers. So for the reasons
stated above, and especially for their lightweight nature, we decided to
use standard Launchpad blueprints.

I myself use Trello for some other projects and I love it. I see no
reason why not, if some teams decide to do so, use it as a complement to
blueprints. You could think of it of a more fine-grained and rich way of
keeping track of the development tasks, but making sure that the
blueprints still reflect the global work items and assignments.

I think it's fine if a particular team wants to use it, so for those
who'd want to, I'd suggest them to propose it and then we can discuss
the best way to set it up.

Cheers,
David.
