Hello and welcome!

Thank you for your support and the purchase of BQ Aqaurius Ubuntu Edition.
Currently I'm the person to contact regarding Telegram.

We've had push outage (we're not sure if it was 2 or 3 days) of Telegram
notifications, this has been resolved yesterday evening, and notifications
started working again since.

Notifications should show up both as a badge count/emblem and at the top of
the screen, assuming Telegram is not running, in background (not focused)
or the screen is locked.
We've had another user mention this problem, and we'll be tracking it here:

The crash that you mention is something we've not seen before, but maybe
related to an issue that was reported to me by another user just today (not
much details on that one):

Regarding sound, there's yet another issue filed:
