sorry, the mail was directed to the Rosetta guys and only CCed here for
reference. :) Disabling the template means both, uncheck the "Include
translations for this template in language packs" and the "Accept
translations" checkboxes in the Administer screen of the templates in
LP. The first one will stop including the translations in the Rosetta
export tarball. The second one will hide the template from the users in
Launchpad. Since those templates are obsolete, we don't want translators
to waste their time on them. ;)
Since they are obsolete, they won't appear in the import queue again.
They have been taken out of their source packages.
Now, mass-disabling can be done only by the Rosetta guys, since they
have direct database access and can run some SQL magic to do the job. We
on the contrary would need to click through every single template, which
is just a pain the back.
