Re: Can we promote ubuntu-translation project via UWN and FullCircle?

Yes, but there is a question just jump out in my mind, why cannot we have a Ubuntu Translation Blog, just like Server Team Blog and so on. We can make announcements, introductions and other things there, and it could be really easy for those people to have an impression for us at least (just like I have know server team blog from planet, even I only read the title for most time). Also we can ask to add the blog rss to Planet Ubuntu, which we have talked before, and adding such team blog won't break any common rule or precedent.

For every meeting, we can publish meeting minutes if anybody would like to do it, and we can report our progress on wiki as well.
A team blog will help us promotion better, and we still can use other methods when somebody like to do it, e.g. FullCircle.

Hi Aron,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I think yours is a great idea and would
definitely help in promoting the project.

In fact, as Adi pointed out, I've been looking into this for one of the
blueprints I'll be focusing on this cycle:

https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/community-lucid-increasing-lp-translations-dev-community-contributions

But we could definitely use the same actions to promote the Ubuntu
translations project.

Hi,

It would be nice, but we need do find someone willing to do that.

Maybe we can also use the TeamReporting page as it is copied in UWN.
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/TeamReports

That's a very good point, I'll make sure to paste the meetings notes
there at least, but it would be nice to have someone else to add
activity notes of the translations team or what happens in translations
world there as well.

It looks like this was touched durring one of our UDS sessions.
