Message #00503
Help approving the KDE templates in the imports queue
Hi translations coordinators,
Last week I had a call with Andrej and Gabor, and one of the things we
discussed was the current state of the imports queue in Oneiric.
There have been some changes upstream, and some source packages have
been renamed, which we'll need to do as well in Launchpad.
I've created an overview of the changes that need to be made here:
http://goo.gl/Bap0X
What needs to be done for each template is listed on the "Action"
column. There are just two types of actions, which I hope the screencast
examples help explaining
* Approve a template:
http://people.canonical.com/~dpm/screencasts/approve-template.ogv
* Change a template's source package:
http://people.canonical.com/~dpm/screencasts/change-src-pkg.ogv
I'd like to ask for your help in doing these changes by going through
the list and striking each entry you've had the chance to process.
It's just about the templates listed in the "General" sheet. For the
rest, I've asked the Launchpad team to see if they can address them all
at once:
https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/165206
I'd really appreciate your help, as this will be very useful to ensure
Kubuntu is properly translated in Oneiric, and to clear up the imports
queue. If you've got any questions, just let me know.
Thanks!
Regards,
David.
