Re: Adding the Na'vi language to Ubuntu

 

Hello!

In general I believe if people are willing to commit their free time
to start translating ubuntu in another language (even if it's
artificial) then we should let them go ahead.

Language code question is more difficult, i think. If ISO code is not
available then we must either:
 > defer team creation until official iso code is available or
 > choose a placeholder value for Na'vi language code and then change
it to the official ISO value when/if it becomes confirmed

As i don't know how much extra work is caused by the second option I
cannot really evaluate if it's worth it. This also depends on the new
team members activity (if a couple hundred strings are going to be
translated as is the case for klingon then i don't think it's worth
the effort).
