[Bug 884807] Re: "Realise your documents and presentations freely" string is baddly presented in the french version
There's not much we can do on the French l10n side. I reckon this string
is long, but it can't be shortened without affecting the meaning. So I'd
say it's not our work to fix this issue. The software should be able to
display this correctly.

Title:
"Realise your documents and presentations freely" string is baddly
presented in the french version
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Invalid
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When installing Oneiric in the french version, at the end of the
installation you get a slideshow presenting the new features.
In the french version, the slide
"Realise your documents and presentations freely" (or something like this)
is translated by :
"Réalisez vos documents et présentations librement"
witch is a slightly longer string...
... so "librement" goes to the line and is strangely presented with a
smaller font. (see screenshot)
This is not a nice first impression when installing Ubuntu.
This may occur with other languages and on other slides with long
titles.
