Thanks for your bug report. First, I'd like to zero in to the specific
strings you're talking about …

Do you mean these 6 strings related to »share/sharing/shared«?
 https://translations.launchpad.net/gwibber/3.4/+pots/gwibber/de/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=share

Or do you mean these 2 strings related to »retweet/tweet«?
 https://translations.launchpad.net/gwibber/3.4/+pots/gwibber/de/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=tweet

And just to be sure … I'd also like to know, which version of Gwibber
you are using. The links above point to the Gwibber 3.4 series. What
Ubuntu release are you using? Is it updated? Is your »proposed«
repository disabled or enabled?

  German translation for retweeted awkward

Bug description:
  Instead of Retreeted by the German translation says "freigegeben von".
  It means something like "approved by". I suggest to translate it as
  "weitergeleitet von" meaning "forwarded"
