[Bug 982398] Re: Synaptic translations disappeared from the package
After talking to mvo, he'll upload a new package reverting the changes
to make Synaptic translatable as a universe package in Launchpad, thus
recovering the missing translations.

Title:
Synaptic translations disappeared from the package
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Triaged
Status in “synaptic” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Latest revision (124) in Precise added X-Ubuntu-Use-Langpack to the control file, which made the translations of synaptic disappear from the package.
The problem is that the pot file is not being regenerated: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/101000860/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386.synaptic_0.75.9_BUILDING.txt.gz
so the import queue is currently empty, leaving Synaptic entirely untranslated.
