Re: [Bug 1078073] [NEW] When using apt-get install "[Y/n] options are translated but shouldn't be

Hi Gabor,

Three points I want to make:

1)
I tested the "J" option (and also lowercase "j") in quantal - and it
works as expected.
2)
If the options are not supposed to be translated, then the best way to
fix it would be to alter text not translatable.
However as I mentioned, the "J" option does function.
3)
When assigning tasks regarding the Danish translations, I think the
correct recipient is the teams address (dansk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).

PS! Sorry if I sound like an old, grumby guy. :-)
I'll forward the other post you sent me to the Danish team, but I
won't fix the translation as I'm in doubt whether it's the right thing
to do.

Best regards,
Aputsiaq Janussen

When using apt-get install "[Y/n] options are translated but shouldn't

Bug description:
This is a minor bug that applies to danish tranlations and posiible
  all non-english language.

When installing softare through the terminal (apt-get install) you are
promted if you like to install the package or not. In danish those
options are translated as well i.e. options are displayed as "[J/n]".

However you have to type "y" to install and n th chancel. (what the
user type has to be the english options)

  best regards
