[Bug 1197434] Re: String not translatable in Unity

 

Hi, is this still the case? It's set translatable in the code
(scope.vala) - "search_hint = _("Search your computer and online
sources");" and in the home.scope.in.in file.

Bug description:
  The string "Search your computer and online sources" that is shown in
  the search field of the Unity Dash is not translatable.

  There is the exact same string in the launcher for the icon to open
  the Dash. That string is translated and translation of it is shown.

  Please mark the string mentioned above as translatable or use the
  already existing translation for this string as well.
