[Bug 1302994] Re: inconsitent rubbish bin / waste basket in xfce environment
That is to say, the offending strings were in "gtk+3.0". I originally
opted for 'Rubbish Bin' a few releases ago and it's been consistent up
until now; 'wastebasket' just seemed to have slipped in by accident but
it's gone now.
I think there's a language update due tomorrow (for trusty's deadline -
see release schedule) which should bounce it back to 'Rubbish Bin' for
fellow en_gb users. (You're using british english, i assume? if not,
i'll have to see what i can do!)
In the meantime, i'll have a look around to make sure this isn't
happening anywhere else i can tweak.

Title:
inconsitent rubbish bin / waste basket in xfce environment
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I experience an inconsistency within the translation for English (GB):
It seems that the "rubbish bin" is used for the main ubuntu programs
(e.g. the folder in the file system), while the xfce applications use
the term "wastebasket", as I experience it in the file manager thunar
or the default icon in the desktop settings.
