"Hello and thank you for pointing out this typo.
It already has been fixed a year ago, but since no new version of the Xfce terminal has been released for the last 19 months, the correction hasn't been taken into account yet.
Therefore, the bug report can be closed, only patience is required until the next release."

Title:
  xfce4-terminal version 0.6.3 has a misspelled string in the french
  version of Xubuntu 15.04

Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  In the Terminal menu, the entry "Définir le encodage" is bad and
  should be "Définir l'encodage". The XFCE project repository
  (git://git.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-terminal) current .mo file has a good
  translation for this string.
