Message #11758
[Bug 1894328] [NEW] free command (procps): Galician translation
Public bug reported:
Hi,
I've found an issue with the Galician translation for the word "Swap"
from the "free" command. While the translation is correct, it makes the
output information for the swap section to be misaligned.
Here you can see the difference for the command when using the English
vs Galician translation:
$ free -m
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 7876 2284 4146 468 1445 4879
Swap: 2047 0 2047
$ free -m
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 7876 2284 4146 468 1445 4879
Espazo de intercambio: 2047 0 2047
Do you think a shorter translation could be used here? I guess the word
"Swap" itself is already familiar to anybody using this command. But
also, something like just "Intercambio" (if it fits) would also make
sense.
Thanks in advance.
