Re: Reapproval

 

Steps to make this happen:

1.  Pick a weekend to do this
2.  Find a cool classic car that can be borrowed for a weekend.  If we
cannot borrow one, skip ahead.
3.  Contact event organizers to see if we can be participants if we have
a car.  If we cannot get a car, see if we can get somebody recommended
to partner with.
4.  Fearless Leader to procure CDs for distribution
5.  Put together talking points.  Print up handouts if appropriate.
6.  Decide upon food & drink to take.  This is just like being at an
outdoor craft fair so something would be needed for the contact team
7.  Make the pitch to folks at the event who are normally not computer
specialists on how an operating system for human beings is better than
the Washington State-rooted structures that might cause them grief
8.  Take lots of pictures
9.  Write up an after-action report
10.  Bug Amber Graner to link to the after-action report in Ubuntu
Weekly News so that others might learn from what we did
