I don't entirely disagree, but I can't help but wonder where this is going

Yes, it's a different system. We did not write the forums software.

It should not have been removed. There should be an election thread
started, and people should post their link to their wiki there

Because you are to *link* to your wiki from elsewhere. That way
everyone who can follow a link gets the same information. Most rules
and regulations are on the Wiki, and in fact, all Ubuntu policies are
there as well. It's how we run the community.

Odd. Were you editing *your* page and not Ohio's? Even then, it's a
wiki, the point is to be able to edit this stuff.

Um, I can't think of anyone on this team who would not help someone in
need. Did you ask on IRC? I remember answering both your emails in a
timely manner as well.

I've answered *every* question you've sent to me in a very timely
manner. Have you been to our IRC channel either? What resources have
you tried?

I'm on the governing board of the Ubuntu Beginners Team. I've been
helping new Ubuntu users from Windows for over 3 years now. In
addition, I've been helping on a regular basis, the longest I've ever
been absent was one month, in mid-2009.

Trust me. That's not my downfall.

Again, I'm in charge of the team that helps new users.

Again, I'm in charge of the team that helps new users. I know. Most of
the Ohio members on IRC are also members of the UBT.

I've been doing that for 3 years. We're also looking for new members
if you feel like joining.

Let me know when you want to start with the Beginners Team as well :)

The wiki is here[1].
