Loco Governing Structure
Hey all,
I was looking at historical information about the Ohio loco team in
launchpad. It looks like at one point (in 2007) it was decided that the
group would be governed by a council. It looks like we've somewhat
strayed from that at this point to dispersed reloco teams, thanks to
paultag's handiwork :)
I think that has been a very useful/great development, but now I'm
wondering if the council structure still matters? And how do reloco
leads fit into the council sructure? Are they defacto council members
now?
I couldn't find any historical information about the role of the team
contact, so I kind of view that as the position created by paultag,
and embodied by his work over the past year or so. I wonder if we
need/want a strong lead/executive or if a move back to a council would
be better? Figuring all of this out is particularly important in light
of the current election.
Gilbert
