Ubuntu Hour on Victoria Day?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hey everybodeee, what do you think of having an Ubuntu Hour on
Victoria Day, Monday 19 May 2014? I'll suggest 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Egg
Roll King again because I like it there, but if anyone has a different
place they prefer then let me know.
I'm suggesting another Monday Ubuntu Hour for all those folks who said
they can't make it on Thursdays or Fridays but couldn't come to the
O'Buntu Hour on St. Patrick's Day. Perhaps we'll call this one
So, let me know if you can come, or if Victoria Day is a really bad
choice. If there's enough interest I'll create a LoCo Portal event;
if Victoria Day doesn't work then we can pick another day. Maybe
Tuesday the 20th? The following Monday the 26th?
Also, Darcy reports that the Trusty Tahr 14.04LTS DVDs have arrived.
In addition to an Ubuntu Hour there should be an Installfest/Release
Party scheduled in the near future as well, so we can put those disks
to good use.
And for anyone who's closer to London than to Waterloo, Jean-Paul
Sauve (Seven-Six-Two on IRC) is hosting an Ubuntu Hour and
inaugural LOLUG meeting on Saturday, 17 May 2014 from 7:00pm until the
wee hours at Milo's Craft Beer Emporium at 422 Talbot Street in
London. Craft Beer vs. Egg Rolls!
