Re: Ubuntu Hour on Victoria Day?

At the KWLUG meeting tonight three of us were talking afterwards, and
two of us were keen for Egg Rolls on Victoria Day, and one of us had
family commitments and was unable to come. So, that's two-thirds in
favour of Victoribuntu Hour! Majority governments have been based on
less!

Here's the details:

*What*: Victoribuntu Hour in Kitchener
*When*: Monday, 19 May 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
*Where*: Egg Roll King Restaurant, 85 Courtland Ave. E, Kitchener
*Map*: http://osm.org/go/ZXnwSzXf?m=&way=195517589
*Register*: http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/ubuntu-ca/2809/detail/

One of the things to discuss is when and where we might hold an
Installfest with our shiny new DVDs... And we could also discuss
venue diversification -- maybe hold the next Ubuntu Hour somewhere else?

Also, there has been talk of having another System Administrator's
Appreciation Day Dinner. There wasn't one last year, and we SysAdmins
can only go without appreciation for so long. SysAdmin Day is always
on the last Friday of July, so that's the 25th this year. If you're a
SysAdmin, or a friend or relation of a SysAdmin please let me know if
you're interested.
