As far as I saw, it seems to be a problem with the webapps reading the
latest settings from the browser or whatever. After intial install of
14.04, flash does not seem to work. I had to install the extras package
to get it to work. At this point, webapps were still reporting that no
flash is present, although it works in the browser. I was lanuching the
webapps with firefox as the default browser. With firefox, I could not
get the apps to work with flash at all(not only YT, but also
grooveshark). With Chromium+ unity-chromium-extension+pepper Flash I did
get the webapps to recognize flash after a painful procedure of purging
flash+webapps and manually deleting all of their leftover files from ~/.
Since that worked out, I've been trying to do the same with firefox, but
now I broke it and can't either recover it to work with chromium nor
firefox :)

Bug description:
  Like in bug summarry Grooveshark webapp loads the Flash version of
  website instead HTML5. That results in displaying the message
  "Problem Loading Flash" which contains link to HTML5 version of
  website.

  HTML5 version works with oxide-codecs-extra installed.
