Public bug reported:

JavaScript popup boxes (dialogs) don't show when the phone is in
landscape mode. It only works in portrait mode. All input is blocked
after the dialog should come up. Switching to portrait then makes the
dialog visible.

Steps to reproduce:
1.  Visit http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_popup.asp
2. Push one of the "Try it yourself" buttons
3. Push "Try it" in portrait mode: works. Dismiss the dialog
4. Switch to landscape, try again: no dialog, all inputs blocked
5. Switch back to portrait: dialog shows up
