[Bug 377209] [NEW] [jaunty official release] Ubuntu sometimes hangs when working with codeblocks only mouse pointer moves.

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I'm not sure this bug is related to ubuntu or Code::Blocks or one of the
utilities it uses. But as far as I know no software problem or bug
should make the entire system hang.

I'm working with Code::Blocks on my own xplatform game project. It runs
in a window and uses OpenGL and OpenAL and based on wxWidgets. When you
quit, it hides that window and shows a notification messagebox when you
press OK it calls exit(0), afaik this this calls the cleanup sequence
and the appropriate destructors. Maybe wxWidgets timers make some mess
since they are multithreaded and they want to do something they
shouldn't... So sometimes the entire system hangs when that notification
messagebox pops up (if I don't hear the system sound it makes I know
death has arrived...). Mouse pointer can be moved, but neither the
desktop elements nor the keyboard responds. Even num, caps and scroll
lock don't respond. I can only press reset to make my computer alive
again.

When running the program outside CB I haven't experienced this bug -
yet.

On Intrepid everything was fine, but I have problems since the upgrade.
