[Bug 376775] Re: [Jaunty, ATI] when opening cooliris addon in Firefox everything freezes

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xorg

  1) If I run firefox normally, as soon as I run cooliris and start scrolling the wall it freezes, sometime the screen becomes black, sometimes it just freezes and I can move the mouse, but nothing else, no key nor shortcut is getting me everywhere and the only thing to do is restart the system holding the power button.
  2) If I run Firefox from terminal, or from terminal -> firefox -g -> run, it will work fine when using cooliris, except that when I close cooliris x crashes and brings me back to the Ubuntu login screen...
  3) If I run Firefox from terminal -> screen -> firefox (or also firefox debugging mode), cooliris runs fine AND closes fine without any problem.

So, since the crashes happen only when I don't have the possibility to
get back an output then, I really don't know what's going on...could it
be because since Jaunty, for ATI cards there's no more proprietary
drivers avaliable, for certain video cards? (mine is ATI Mobility Radeon
  X1300)
