[Bug 380545] [NEW] Segfault in X when cold booting after login

Build Version/Date:  Jaunty Desktop updated from Intrepid
Environment used for testing: Dell XPS M1330

Summary: 
When cold booting, my login process repeats. During the first failure to login the system drops to terminal and displays errors. The system then returns to the Username screen and second login is successful.

Steps to Reproduce: 
1) Cold boot
2) Login
3) After failure (term dump)
4) Login again

Expected result: 
Login success

Actual result:
