[Bug 386522] [NEW] miscoloured display when using nvidia-driver
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nvidia-settings
Under Hardy, a GeForce 3D Prophet III Ti500 graphics card worked perfectly under the nvidia-driver environment
in connection with an analog monitor.
Switching to a flat-panel LCD display (Eizo FlexScan S2231),
the display was detected correctly but reproduction of colours is wrong, beginning with the login-prompt.
The problem goes away, when the nvidia-driver is beeing disabled.
The problem is persistent under Hardy, Intrepid und Jaunty, probably
driver-related.
