[Bug 389836] [NEW] after update to xkb-data_1.6-1 modifier keys (left and right ALT) dont work in gtk apps anymore
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xkb-data
after updating xkb-data (1.5-2ubuntu11) to 1.6-1ubuntu1 in Kubuntu Karmic and restarting the xserver, the left and right ALT keys do not work anymore in Firefox, Thunderbird and synaptic (gtk2 apps?).
In all kde apps I tested as well as in konsole, these keys work fine.
After downgrading to version 1.5-2ubuntu11, everything works fine again.
Tested with several up-daongrades.
Kubuntu 9.10, amd64
** Affects: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
