I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 on a MacBook 5,1.

The MacBook gets very hot especially in the area around the graphic
card. Under intensive use the graphic cards can reach 70+ degrees
celsius (at that point I've shut the system down). According to reports

the system runs noticably cooler with the version 180.60 of the driver.
The heat problem does not occur when compiz is swithed off and when the
system is used at low intensity.
