[Bug 392028] [NEW] [karmic] xserver fails to start
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
After a fresh install of karmic on my laptop (HP tx2-1150 | ATI Mobility
Radeon HD3200), xserver fails to start.
After executing the startx command the following is displayed:
(...)
Saw signal 11. Server aborting.
(...)
ddxSigGiveUp: re-raising 11
waiting for X server to begin accepting connections
giving up.
xinit: Connection reset by peer (errno 104): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
