[Bug 317658] Re: weird graphics with sis graphics card

> Is there anybody who can take care this

Any developer who can maintain this, please do. From what I gather, the current developer is Thomas Winischhofer and the link in the sis man page to the sis driver for linux project is broken (has been turned into a link farm):
http://www.winischhofer.at/linuxsisvga.shtml for more information and updates

I have tried contacting Thomas via email, but it seems he has gone AWOL
and I have yet to receive a response.

Other authors of this driver include: Alan Hourihane, Mike Chapman,
Juanjo Santamarta, Mitani Hiroshi, David Thomas, Sung-Ching Lin, Ademar
Reis.

sis does put out a linux driver but it has not been updated since they are still proposing downloads for kernel 2.4.20 here:
http://www.sis.com/support/support_faqs_16.htm

Bryce, it would be nice to have a status on what is going on with the
sis driver and what we can do to fix these bugs and avoid further
regression.
