[Bug 350247] Re: nvidia 8800 not detected properly in 9.04

 

no change. i did a fresh install/update with and without the proprietary
drivers (180) with no change. and a live cd test using that script and
there's no change. i took pictures of all the errors i saw and the
accompanying logs. i hope the quality isn't too bad. and like i said
yesterday all the fixes regarding these errors have failed to work. even
during the install, when i choose the "install ubuntu" option from the
live cd boot menu (instead of going into the live desktop and clicking
install) it immediately takes me to a root console like nothing
happened.
