[Bug 681122] [NEW] Left click stops working on touchpad or USB mouse

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-mouse

After using my Dell Studio 1555 for a while either the left mouse button
of the touchpad or the left mouse button of the USB mouse stop working.

Workaround: if the left button on the touchpad doesn't work, left
clicking on the USB Mouse makes the left button on the touchpad work
again, and vice versa.

This happens with three different USB mouses so probably not the mouse's
fault. Although I didn't use it much, the laptop came with WIndows Vista
and it didn't happen there.

On Ubuntu Lucid it sometimes happened even if no USB mouse was
connected, so had to connect a USB mouse and click on it for the
touchpad button to work again. This did not happen so far with Maverick
or Mint Julia(the "normal" bug does occur on both to be clear).

Never happened that both touchpad and USB left buttons stop working
simutaniously.

Current version of xserver-xorg-input-mouse is 1:1.5.0-2build1.
