Message #101084
[Bug 682475] [NEW] Intel 945 - X crashes with "[drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed]"
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
In certain conditions, my X session crashes entirely, and I'm dropped to a regular terminal on tty1 or tty2.
Crashes seem to happen at random, but I seem to be able to reproduce it by opening an mp4 video in google-chrome.
dmesg shows the error "[drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed]"
** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
