- What I was doing when the application crashed:
After enabling OpenGL compositing on the kubuntu desktop, I played an hd movie
on commandline mplayer which starts by default on fullscreen. The output mode
was gl.

kwin crashed immediately. This occurs about 30% of my fullscreen movie
playbacks only when compositing is enabled and only using opengl compositing
(as opposed to xrender: a reasonable number of attempts with no crashes)

There appears to be no crash using the xv output of mplayer either.

- Custom settings of the application:
No compositing effects were turned on (except a few that activated during
login/logout)

Running on Core i3 with latest drivers from ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
