[Bug 706047] [NEW] corrupt display with KMS radeon driver

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

After a while of use, get odd red pixels around the screen. This
eventually becomes lots of wrong pixels everywhere that stops the system
being usable.

The process can be greatly accelerated by starting Kaffeine (perhaps the
first QT4 application I launch on my gnome session?) which immediately
comes up un-readable.
