[Bug 714634] [NEW] intel 82852/82855 cannot display login screen
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I am using acer travelMate 380 laptop, the graphic adapter is intel
82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller. After upgrading to Natty 11.04
kernel 2.6.38.1/2, the login screen cannot display properly. and there
is no way to login to the system. pls see screenshot picture attached.
there is no such problem when I use the kernal 2-6-37-12.
the bug report is collected based when bootup using 2-6-37-12.
by the way, when I tried to use ubuntu-bug -p, it said the option is deprecated so I use the command without -p.
thanks you so much.
best regards,
KJ
