[Bug 715098] [NEW] Display corruption since the last kernel update

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

In several graphical applications (Mozilla, evolution, Gnome file dialog, etc), the display becomes corrupted when the page is browsed up and down. Some moved parts of the display are not refreshed.
This is a redundant bug that was arising in my previous installation of ubuntu (8.1, I guess) and that has disappeared in this version until I perform the last update of the kernel.
