[Bug 722373] [NEW] Dell Latitude E6400, All monitors black when switching from external to internal
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Hello,
I have a problem with my E6400 laptop which i connect to my HP f2105 external monitor.
I always use 1 monitor at a time.
When i switch from the external HP to the internal Dell monitor the Dell monitor fails to enable, leaving both screens black. The only way to recover is crashing the laptop by holding the power button down.
It works fine when doing the same on windows, so it does not appear to be a hardware problem.
Ubuntu does not generate any kind of error report for this.
Let me know if there is any more information i can provide.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
