[Bug 724514] [NEW] GPU hang

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
The hardware is a T400 (6474-B84). The graphics controller is Intel Integrated Graphics 4500MHD (according to www.lenovo.com). From the /proc file system, I get the following.

Error description
- All windows frozen all of a sudden.
- After changing to an ASCII console (Ctrl+Alt+F3): Screen shows an X11 error message every 0.5 second, that contains the terms "drm" and "GPU hang". I haven't found this message in any log files so far.
- After reboot, /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old shows entries like this one.
