[Bug 725172] [NEW] Xorg segfaults consistently after I plug in my "Microsoft® Digital Media Keyboard 3000"

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

When the keyboard is not plugged in, the system operates normally;
plugging in the keyboard at any time consistently produces a
segmentation fault. This did not happen in Maverick; it happens
consistently in Natty, however.

The relevant logs produced by naively running "sudo X" from a terminal
are attached.

Please note that Apport did not log the crash; the following files are
generated by running `ubuntu-bug -p xorg` after the fact manually.
