[Bug 726142] [NEW] Wacom tablet mouse does not work properly when monitor set to vertical resolution

Public bug reported:

I have a new Lenovo X201 tablet computer with a Wacom tablet screen.
I have Gnome 2.32.1
kernel 2.6.35-8-generic
Natty Studio with all updates
I turn the monitor to Left Rotation via Monitor / Preferences / Rotation / Left (to read a book, for example)
All three of the mousing capabilities (the touch screen, the touchpad and the red button in the middle) don't track my movements. The mouse seems to move independently of anything I do to it. Sometimes it seems to work in an opposite fashion to the way it's supposed to, but then it sort of changes it's mind. It is impossible to control, in other words.
