[Bug 729110] [NEW] mouse button mapping gets reset at random intervals

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xinput

I have an Evoluent VerticalMouse and mapped the buttons a bit different
using the following command:

  /usr/bin/xinput set-button-map 12 1 9 2 4 5 6 7 3 8

Every once in a while, the button mapping is reset to default. This
happens from once every few days to several times in an hour. I always
have the same applications open and my machine isn't going to suspend or
something like that. It often happens while actively using the computer.

My xorg.conf only reads the lines neccessary for fglrx:

Section "Screen"
	Identifier	"Default Screen"
	DefaultDepth	24
EndSection

Section "Module"
	Load	"glx"
EndSection

Section "Device"
	Identifier	"Default Device"
	Driver	"fglrx"
EndSection

The Xorg.0.log is attached.

** Affects: xinput (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
